
Adyen unveiled an embedded accounts payable product Wednesday targeting the $12 trillion in annual supplier payments flowing through digital platforms. The product lets marketplaces and SaaS platforms manage mass disbursements, tax withholding, and compliance documentation through a single API integration.
The launch marks Adyen's first formal entry into B2B payables — a market dominated by specialists like Tipalti, Bill.com, and Payoneer. CEO Pieter van der Does framed the move as a natural extension of Adyen's platform payments business.
